My Approach
I KINDA Think The industry is broken, so i do it just for funsies.
I believe that when we forget the about idea of achieving fame or money from our craft, we open up opportunity for more artistic freedom. The thoughts and feelings that fueled our progress never came from the thought of paying bills or reaching a million followers, our progress came from feeling the vibrations – feeling good – and wanting more. That’s why I do music.
Why Me?
Multi-instrumental
Having experience on different instruments has given me a wide outlook on what is involved in the musical process. With each new instrument I’ve learned, I learned something new about the instrument before it. Everyone in the band has a different prospective that is essential to making the music happen.
Nearly 20 years of experience
Oof, that makes me feel old. I hopped on kit at 8 years old. The rest is history. Some of my history includes: drum set competitions, orchestral percussion, so so many church performances (including holidays *brow raise & a wink*), studio work, tiny desk submissions, live keys for Ally Evenson, and a few fun solo/friend projects.
Professional
Yeah, I guess you could say that… Jokes aside, I use professional gear, I show up on time & prepared, I can read a chart, and I can learn material that some books might call “advanced”.
